You will need to take some time to allow your body to heal & follow what the physio says (been there & not done that & taken longer than I should have to heal). Good luck with it. xoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125575578786743698.post-33800543036208443282014-05-30T19:21:53.817+10:002014-05-30T19:21:53.817+10:00Hi Kate,
I've just started reading your blog ...Hi Kate,
I've just started reading your blog recently and it's given me a massive motivation boost to continue on my own 12WBT journey - I've started Operation Europe this week. I don't really know what to say to help you on your way, but from all your other posts, I know you will get through this and will get back on your feet like you always do. You are one inspiring gal. I remember one post you wrote a while back where you realised that it's ok to change your goals. Like Sarah's comment - its ok to miss this marathon - there will be more. Making sure you are healthy is far more important. It must have been really frustrating seeing everyone else doing what you wanted to do. But you know what - you are you. And you are amazing. And you can only do what you can do. Celebrate that.

xoxDark Cloudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12947782061034497772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125575578786743698.post-62870237473286836862014-05-30T05:06:32.335+10:002014-05-30T05:06:32.335+10:00I have had an issue with pain similar to your O pa...I have had an issue with pain similar to your O pain. Last spring after attending an intensive 2 week wellness retreat and pushing my body much further that it is used to being pushed, I returned home with determination to keep it up. About a month after returning home, I started to experience left sided pain that just got worse and didn't respond much to Tylenol or Ibuprofen. I tried to push on through the pain and finally I just couldn't anymore. I went to several doctors, the ER, and even a chiropractor and no one could really figure out what was wrong. I felt like a total hypochondriac and that I was making up the pain. I finally took a one week break from exercising, got a lot of rest, and the pain subsided. I still have the pain a couple times a month and don't really know what is causing it. It sounds so much like your O pain. I have kept a pain journal and have noted that the pain is much more around the time I am getting ready to start my period. When I have the pain, I try to take a break from working out and pushing myself and get lots of rest, giving my body what I think it must need.
Never think that your efforts are a fail! My favorite motto is "something is better than nothing." You have accomplished so much and are such an inspiration. I really enjoy reading your blog and looking at your posts on Instagram. Sometimes our body will force us to stop and rest if that is what it needs the most. Listen to your body and give it what it needs. As someone who recently had back surgery, "pushing" through back pain and doing any exercise not under advice from a physio or doctor I think is very very risky....good luck getting to the bottom of it all. Be kind to yourself and bod and listen to the bod. xxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
